Simon Pearce
Simon pearce was raised in Ireland. Where he was trained as a potter but developed an intrest in old glass, that was hand blown in the 18th and 19th century. He opened his first glassmaking workshop and retail store in 1971 in Ireland. Simon and his wife Pia left Ireland and settled in Vermont in 1980 where they renovated an old woolen mill next to a waterfall on the Ottachechee River. This is the first site for thier glass workshop, retail store and resturant. Simon pearce has three facilities in the United States and is considered to be the highest quailty glassmaking companies in the world!
